Site Rebuild

I'm going through another re-build sometime around the beginning of the year.  This address will stay the same, but I am not sure if I will be using the same blog service yet.

Why? Partially due to everything else in life taking precidence over this site and partilly because I have not hit the right stride with the site. It just does not feel right, I haven't found the grove for it just yet. It feels out of tune, so to speak.

What are some of the things I envision for the sight?  Well, for starters I would like to intergrate it into my Facebook account more, maybe even add a Twitter feed. I have to admit that I have been a ludite when it comes to Twitter, but it looks like I just need to bite the digital bullet and submit. Resistance is futile.

Also, I want to have a seperate gallery. I plan on adding a few limited run pieces for sale, but I need to be able to figure out how to sell them. That means fidning a new print house as well as a way to sell them. Ebay? Direct? Not sure just yet.

Also, I need to get some sort of schedule going, even if it is a once a week post type thing. When it comes to writing, I never seem to be able to meet a deadline, and that includes blogs. Maybe a pictures-I-like-and-why column once a week and a weekly this-is-what-I-shot post. It's funny, with my actual photography I have no problems with deadlines! I've stayed up for days making sure that a run of photos was ready for a client and have always met the deadline. With writing, not so much. Dunno why that is.

But, there will be changes soon. Most will not show till the new year, but I can guarantee that you will see an improvement withing the next 3 week.

Dang, I just set a deadline. ;)
