Just life, update of stuff and such...

Man, I hate that it has been so long since I have posted anything.


Photography is still going slow. I just have not had any real time with family, work and writing. I’ve got to make a decision soon on whether I not I am changing my webhosting for the main photography site. The only real photos I have taken have been self-portraits to use as a headshot over at Major Spoilers. I wasn’t very happy with them, but the weather has been making everything difficult. Speaking of Major Spoilers…

I’ve been contributing reviews there regularly and seem to have a bi-weekly or so article, The Comic Casting Couch. A new Comic Casting Couch should be out in the next few days; I’ve finished the article, and just have to create the images to go along with it. It was the subject of a poll I created, chose which of the 5 heroes you want to give the Comic Casting Couch treatment to, and Iron Fist won. So in a few days or so, you should be seeing an THE WAY OF THE IRON FIST treatment on the site.

In regards to reviews, I found I was mentioned by Bob Greenberger on his website a few weeks back as the first person to review his Iron Man prose novel, Femmes Fatales. He even quoted some of my review! I was actually rather flattered, but I wonder how I should let him know I am not a she? I’m not mad, I actually found it rather funny, and now I know why Stephen recently insisted that I get a headshot in to him! I’m sure Katie will get a laugh out of it.

And regarding Twitter... should I? I have been pretty good at avoiding it, but with my writing picking up and the activity over at Major Spoilers, I feels like it is something I might need to get into if for no other reason than to follow creators and such. I’m gonna think on that a while. No one reads this blog, so I wonder…

Well, there will be more regular post starting today. I just needed some time to get life situated, is it ever really situated? Katie is doing great and loves her job, Emily is shooting up like a weed. I swear she has grown 6 inches just since we moved to the new rental house. And as always, time is just going by to fast.
