Well, Wellsfest was a bust for me this weekend. We didn't get to go due to a variety of issues. Eventually, I will get to go to this thing!
What concerns me more are the computer problems I am currently having. Microsoft Office is not wanting to cooperate with me, and Word decided to auto save a corrupted version of a new On The Comic Couch article I was writing for Major Spoilers. It also did the same for a review of The Web and several pages of story for another project.
Yippie. Can we talk about how much I hate this dang computer?
Luckily, Google was there to save the day. I am not a fan of the Google search engine, but I do like their Gmail and Documents applications. With Google Documents, I was able to re-write my The Web #1 review and get it submitted to Stephen at Major Spoilers for publication. As long as he does not have problems opening the file (please Lord, don't let him have any problems opening the file) I will be re-writing my Comic Couch article and writing a prose novel review tomorrow night. Hell, if Google Documents does everything I need, I may start using it until I get a new computer and take Microsoft Office off for now. Got to find my durn install disc first....
In photography news, I plan on setting up a little photoshoot for my daughter tomorrow. I'm going to see what sort of cuteness I can capture of her in her Wonder Woman Halloween costume! Hopefully it will work out!
